Believe it or not, my wedding dress was the very first one I saw when we first decided to get married in 2018. I didn't think it would be that easy, so I visited a few other bridal boutiques and Trunk Shows by well known designers but I couldn't get the Vega dress out of my head, or Rolling in Roses. I knew I wanted a Made in England dress - this was something that was really important to me, and I also knew that I wanted something a little bit different, easy to wear, ethically made and eco friendly which is where Rolling in Roses ticked so many boxes. My appointment at Glory Days was my last bridal appointment - If you said I saved the best til last, you would be right. Ellis was so patient; although I had originally set my heart on the Vega dress I can honestly say it was a hard choice - all of the dresses were amazing. I managed to narrow it down to three beautiful dresses, and if budget had allowed, I would have bought all three! Communication between myself, Ellis and Hayley was seamless, the service was five star; I really couldn't have asked for a better experience or dress to get married in! I received so many compliments about my dress on our wedding day - it was the perfect choice for me. My now husband even said, "you couldn't have chosen a better dress, it's perfect" which was all I wanted to hear. Absolutely stunning dress! Glory days created my dream dress. It was perfect! Completely gorgeous as well as being a great ethical and sustainable option for Wedding dresses (made from bamboo silk!).

I would recommend Glory Days to anyone!! I had always fancied a vintage dress and wow did Glory Days have lots to offer! From the 10 / 15 I tried on I narrowed it down to my three favourites. I decided on a 1960s shift dress, but when I came back for the fitting I changed my mind in favour of one of the other two. I couldn't believe it when the 1940s satin/lace dress I had been thinking about was still there! Ellis was so understanding + didn't mind at all that i had changed my mind. I tried it on and loved it! I choose a vintage look clip and had a slip from Glory Days, which were perfect with the dress. The dress is gorgeous and i felt very special all day, i've never felt so glamorous!! Thank you soo much Ellis + Glory Days for a relaxed, but exciting experience and making me feel beautiful on my wedding day, but still me! Rachel xxx

What can I say, Hayley was an absolute pleasure from the moment I walked in to Glory Days Vintage & Couture Bridal wear. What made my experience even more special was that my sister found her beautiful wedding gown at Glory Days with Hayley and we had such a magical and wonderful time helping my sister find the perfect dress for her, that I knew the day I got married I wanted to come here with Hayley and find the perfect dress for me. When we set the date I booked my first wedding dress shopping trip straight to Glory Days in York. Hayley had moved her boutique by this time so we got to visit the new fabulous boutique which is an absolute dream. My mum, sister, mother in law and nana had an incredible first dress fitting with Hayley’s assistant who was very helpful and a great asset to Hayley. The dream then became true when I saw the Rolling In Roses collection which is part of Hayley’s own design collection! I had found the most beautiful gown which was like nothing I had ever seen before. I instantly knew The Katie-Lou Dress was the one! I tried a few different dresses on which were all beautiful but the Katie-Lou was my favourite by far. Hayley was a star through all of the fittings and even went that extra mile to make a handkerchief for my mum and a tie for my dad which both had special words sewn on. They were so overwhelmed and it just goes to show how helpful Hayley really is. Glory days was a pleasure and an amazing experience. I recommend them to all those brides who are after that unique wedding dress for their special day and be sure to check out The Rolling In Roses collection!
