Glassboat Brasserie bristol

We ordered the 3 course meal. The appetizers were sad and lacked taste. The lamb main dish was amazing and the strawberry dessert was to die for! I'd visit this place again just to eat that strawberry dessert.

The restaurant was very elegant and with a great view. Helpful staff, although not entirely professional. However both the menu and especially the meals were quite the disappointment. Medium rare steak came so rare and chewy my partner could't finish a quarter of it. I was served pork belly, garnished with half an onion (??), and that was not too bad, but the prices could only be justified by the location. I strongly advise against going there, despite the great setting. There are many great places in Bristol, but this one falls below average in its category.

This is probably one of the best restaurants in Bristol. It been around for years and never fails to surprise us with the menu choices. Excellent service, great food, well worth a visit

Very disappointed to have been served uncooked sea trout. The rest of the meal was very good, but not the best service - would have expected some consolation/discount for the uncooked food.

Fantastic service and setting. A well priced set menu with a good a la carte menu for those wanting it. Couldn't recommend more!

Went for a meal on the glass boat .and I must say absolutely rubbish the chips were hard could not eat them and we had the bill at the end .fish and chips x2 and 2 pints of lager £50 nearly died bloody rubbish never again do not go there.

This is my new favourite fish and chip shop in Bristol (born and bred so have tasted a lot!) and other than Bishopton Fish Bar is the only place I've found which does breaded plaice. Absolutely delicious, gourmet standard but in fish and chip shop portions and price! Can't wait to go back!

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Excellent Covid arrangements and attentive staff. Recommended.

Probably one of the best fish places in town. Great fish and chips quality and quantity. Freshly cut fries and nice homemade tartar and mushed beans. Plaice is an excellent choice. Has special dishes almost every day for lunch.

The staff were efficient and friendly. The meals my friend and I ordered were delicious and well presented. I will definitely be going back.
