4/ 5

Stumbled upon this hidden gem with my mom while walking around after sightseeing at the Clifton Suspension Bridge. It was nice and cozy even on a rainy afternoon just like how a British pub scene should be. The staff were friendly and their toilet is immaculate. Had their Albion Burger but I have to say that it's a 7/10. They seem to have a wide range of drinks too. Will definitely visit again when I come back and maybe have some drinks this time.

Lovely pub tucked away in Clifton village. Lovely beer and great deals on wine. Sunday dinners looked amazing and the wood burning stove makes the atmosphere so cozy, I spent 3 hours there . . . . Will definitely go again!

Amazing food, staff and atmosphere! We came here for a light bite and a few drinks on a Saturday night. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, also very attentive! The food was incredible 🤤 We had the fish sharing platter and it was so tasty and great value for money. We followed this with the brownie recommended by the waitress, it did not disappoint! The place it’s self is really relaxing and with a great atmosphere. Even the bouncers were polite and attentive, this is always a nice bonus. I can’t wait to return here again!

2/ 5

Usually a good Clifton pub but recently had an issue with the doorman. Myself and a group of friends were not allowed entry purely on the basis of being male. We had been behaving ourselves but on getting to the entrance were flat out refused entry because we were a group of 7 men. Such a decision is discriminatory and frankly old fashioned. The doorman wasn’t basing his refusal on our behaviour, it was simply prejudice against groups of men. Very disappointing and hopefully this attitude improves in the future.

Beautiful hidey-hole with a great private room for team planning sessions. The food was divine. But if you're driving, make sure you get there about an hour early so you can find somewhere to park.
