The rooms are clean, but the hotel is just above a bar and is very noisy (till 3AM). There is no elevator and each floor is actually more like 1&1/2 flights each. We were promised a room move from the second floor (actually like 3) to the first floor, never happened .

Unquestionably the worst hotel experience of my life. There’s a nightclub smoking area right outside the hotel, so you’ll be enjoying booming music and second-hand cigarette smoke until 3am. No fan, AC or vents so the room was stifling. Never again.

Could not argue about the location it was right in the city centre so perfect for my needs.I have never stayed in a hotel without a lift and all rooms require you to climb stairs so not very disabled friendly. I was at the front and found it hard to sleep became of the racket from the pubs and nightclubs near by. The curtains in the room did not fit the window and were transparent which did not keep the light out. The basin in the bathroom hot water tap had no pressure and took 10 mins to fill up especially as I kept losing the water because of the wrong size of plug. The shower head sprayed out a fierce jet to one side and only a little water came down from the head also the plug sockets where on one wall only which was very inconvenient. The reception are had a sign up constantly saying back in 5 mins so it was difficult to get anyone to listen to by complaints about the room. Overall not a good experience maybe ok for a one night stay but I was there for 6 nights Great location bad hotel

Lovely, clean rooms, comfy beds nice and helpful service. To give you a fair warning: the central location comes with some obvious downsides like busy nigh life on the weekend. Earplugs recommend, or ask for a room without street view.
