Brilliantly located hotel in the heart of Soho. The staff are always helpful and courteous. The room was perfect, especially when you are out running about all day, it's a very comfortable respite. Really, really cannot beat the location or price. Go, explore and enjoy. Thanks,

If you have a virgin experience voucher for afternoon tea here, you may want to reconsider and exchange it for a different experience. Unless of course you enjoy being seated in the Indian restaurant located at the hotel with blaring dance music playing so loudly you can barely hear yourself think let alone talk. A party of over 10 very drunk restaurant guests were also in the same room at our 2pm sitting. I am all for enjoyment and merriment but the afternoon tea should be in a quiet, sedate space. The waitress could not serve us until the dinner guests had been served, so we were eventually bought drinks after a good 20 min wait. The food was delicious was small portions of scones. The actual hotel is in a lovely old Court house building and has a beautiful lounge area, but we were not able to enjoy this. Instead we were on wooden uncomfortable chairs in the restaurant. The waitress could not do anything about it and looked embarrassed about the situation. On emailing the manager I received an apology but nothing else. So be warned, this could be wonderful but instead it's a real disappointment.

ery unprofessional they gave our table away to the footballers and was turning everyone away Who even had a booking! The lady on the phone was extremely unprofessional with an attitude and put the phone down on us. 0 customer service skills. I think they need to look at potentially getting new management and putting a better booking system in place instead of cancelling peoples bookings to accommodate other people who they think are upper-class. Jokers!

I was very happy with the service of Sandra and Serena from the Spa! It was my most relaxing birthday present and they took care of us even if we were late! They pampered us with a lovely relaxing massage and always asked if we were feeling good, comfortable and relaxed They were very kind, friendly and professional! We will definitely come back and they definitely deserve a raise!:-)!

Terrible rude experience from this hotel, there are many more to stay at in London! When you arrive the hotel has its doors locked to guests And does not let any guests in. Do not book a table at the rooftop bar, the lady will give away your booking to footballers like Sterling because they will pay anything to take your table. Security including the ginger man will take bribes to let friends in but not let bookings in. The booking woman is very rude , complete waste of time, do not visit. We travelled from Birmingham, paid congestion charge to go to this hotel and this is how we are treated by staff at the rooftop bar.

Came to the Courthouse Hotel for afternoon tea. It was not a five star hotel as advertised, everything was very tired, the service was incredibly poor and the food came out half an hour after it was ordered. The food was very nice when it arrived, but calling it a five star hotel in London when really it should be a four star at best.

I was really impressed with the bed and bath in our room at Courthouse Hotel. The water is easily regulated too, so you don’t end up like a lobster after a bath. The TV was massive too, we had a great time watching movies after we got back from our nights out. The location is ideal too - near to the tube, shopping, places of interest, bars and restaurants. Few things took from the stay: our card keys kept resetting but reception were more than happy to help us with fixing those. The hairdryer nozzle was missing, but what hotel room ever had one of these? Ha :-) The bar on the ground floor was never open, which was a shame. It looked so interesting. An old courthouse gaol!!

1/ 5

I’m not sure how this hotel has a 5 star rating, I’ve never had a hotel where they are demanding payment upfront straight away even in the spa and in a very business transaction direct manner. My mother, my sister and I all thought we’d try the facial +/- massage and although the girls were nice it was not worth the money at all and we are not fussy clientele but would not recommend. I had ensured to email and book our requested spa treatments 6 weeks before our stay but they had no idea to expect us when we arrived. They also wouldn’t let my sister leave her bags in my room when she arrived despite my already staying there as apparently I wasn’t there to approve despite me giving all our names. The wifi didn’t work for the duration of the stay (3 days) and one day I was planning on working remotely but had to use my phone data for my laptop. All 3 rooms had problems with either the tv or remotes working. The shower was decent but they only provided 2x 15ml shower gels each day. We ended up with a list of problems such as my key not working for the duration of my stay despite them trying to reprint it 3 times over the 3 nights. If you aren’t eating there (the breakfast is not worth it) and using it for the room & location alone then it does the job as a comfortable quiet nights sleep and super handy for popping back between shops/ eating out. I’ve stayed in other hotels and paid a similar amount for much better facilities and service. I must compliment the gentleman who works on the night shift with glasses who was the only decent customer service we received. When we tried to give feedback at the end of stay, every comment we made was met with an unhelpful excuse at how we must have done something incorrectly which is not how to deal with a genuine customer complaint. We had to laugh in the end because the list of things that kept happening was funny but just want to warn people to not expect 5 star quality or service.

To suggest that the Courthouse is a 5* hotel is shocking. I didn’t check any reviews before I booked this place, and as its situated just off regent street, I thought how bad could it really be? Oh how wrong I was. As I walking into reception, there was a bad vibe. The reception lobby area was freezing cold, the whole first floor area where my room was situated was freezing cold, and my room was freezing cold. The heating just couldn’t warm the room. The room was poorly cleaned and poorly maintained, the bedding was cheap and the duvet was exceptionally thin. There’s more but you catch my drift. If you’re expecting a 5* hotel, you can forget it. It’s a 3* at best.

Hotel is not 5*, should be rated as 4* and could do with a refurb. It’s a shame as the location is great and the place has a really good story. This could be made so much better and would likely be somewhere people return. I think it’s overpriced, food was ok, cocktails not great. We have been better off spending a little more and staying somewhere better or staying at a budget hotel.
