Went to a family wake here twice. Nice friendly staff. Very clean venue. Delicious food. We didn't have a room, but if it is anything like the front of house, you wouldn't be disappointed.

All of the staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was great to be able to park on-site for free. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and waiting staff very attentive. Only reason it's not a five-star review is that in the evening I could the guest in the room above me talking on the phone quite clearly and also I could hear their footsteps quite loudly in the night. Not ideal, but easily solved with ear plugs or turning the TV up!

Stayed here 3 times before. Last 2 times disappointed. After driving for 4 hours to get there, there was no parking available, despite us having given advance notification. Some cars were parked in two spaces (some local event was on, I was told). Took pictures and showed the bad parking; if the badly parked cars just moved a bit, there would have been enough room, but the staff shrugged their shoulders and basically couldn't care less. Ended up parking on the street and having to pay. Because of that we chose to eat and have a drink out rather than in the hotel (they didn't deserve our money). Last time we stayed we were woken up by drunken guests shouting loudly at 2.30 in the morning , and then there was a noisy van delivery about 5.00am. Will go elsewhere next time (due in Oxford in 2 weeks, but do jot plan to stay here). Very disappointed, as it was good previously, but has "lost the plot" now. There are plenty of other places with good parking in Oxford.

Great location near Oxford parks and central. The staff is very friendly and the bed is comfy. Only downside is that you can't open any windows in the room, so it was a bit too hot inside.
