Comfy bed. Sleek and modern bathroom. Free access to the spa which has two saunas, two steam rooms, a jacuzzi, ice scrub room (for contrast recovery therapy) and a fancy experiences shower. The included breakfast is quite generous (continental and full English, plus some options prepared fresh such as three egg omelet with a choice of fillings). Excellent customer service and the building itself is gorgeous. It was a lovely treat for our one-year anniversary.

A lovely hotel perfect for exploring Oxford. The rooms are clean and comfortable with very comfy bed. The staff went that extra mile letting us check in early as our room was ready and letting us leave the car in the car park even after we’d checked out to do a little more exploring. Recommend this hotel very highly

Chapter 46 of Colin Dexter's last Inspector Morse novel,, _The Remorseful Day_, begins with a description of the architectural contrast between the Gothic Randolph and the classical Ashmolean across the street. It goes on to describe the Spires restaurant in the Randolph as " an impressively elegant affair...". Google maps let me see this end of Beaumont street from my bedside in Costa Rica. I enjoy this sort of virtual travel while reading, which doesn't require me to find parking in Oxford.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Randolph hotel in September this year. In the circumstances around Covid 19, it was a challenging event to plan with so much uncertainty around the gathering. We reserved the private dining area with private lounge for our small wedding party. The area was tastefully opulent with a classic theme, and a beautifully lit, beautifully laid table. The food was outstanding with particular creativity and care taken with several dietary requirements. The chef and his team delivered a very impressive menu, superbly balanced and well received by our guests. Emma Cox managed our experience warmly and attentively. We had been invited to the hotel soon after its reopening following refurbishment to sample wines and consider menu options. On the day Emma was on hand and made sure everything flowed effortlessly with excellent timing. The table service was another highlight, our two waiters were clearly highly skilled and experienced. Their presence was perfectly appropriate, it was very refreshing to have received such a professional yet warm style of service. Our room was very comfortable indeed and contained wonderful touches from the team in keeping with the occasion. From start to finish the experience was top class, delightful and truly special Many thanks to a great team of people.

I booked my partner and I in for a place to stay for his graduation, we fully enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend. When it comes to providing a service or a product the first 95% is easy to achieve. The last 5% of a product or service is the hardest to achieve but it’s the bit that consumers notice and appreciate. The Randolph hotel exceeds all expectations with great attention to detail and really focuses on on providing that last 5%. All the staff where so welcoming and very kind to us. A big thank you to Phil Lewis for the nice hand written note and chocolate he sent up to our room. Will definitely stay here again ❤️

I hadn't seen the Randolph since 1996 (when I graduated). Back in 1996, it was a chintzy, musty old duchess, with a quaint, old-world charm. These days the interiors are bold, busy and bordering on the burlesque, but I loved it. The staff were very friendly too and seemed happy to be there. I hope that, post-pandemic, the hotel makes up for lost time. And I hope my next stay is sooner than a quarter of a century away. This hotel is one of many legendary landmarks of Oxford and deserves the love it's clearly been getting in recent times. Recommended.
