Nice selection of drinks. I liked the interiors too. Service was pretty slow during our visit. Starters were good but the vegetarian salad (Main) wasn’t that good when compared to the price they charge for it. I ordered sticky toffee pudding for desert but it wasn’t impressive either. Tasted a bit like the ones you get from a supermarket.

All style and no substance. Opulent restaurant in a stunning building, with staff in smart uniforms, and a bar list full of specialty cocktails. However, this is where the praise ends. I could not for the life of me attract the attention of any staff member to order cocktails. At times they seemed to deliberately not look towards our table. I had to physically get up from the table to go ask them to come take our order. We waited clear over an hour for our meals, even though it wasn’t particularly busy. Then, after we asked where our food was, the waitress came back to say it’s all ready and to ask permission to bring to the table (???). While my burger was delicious, it was impossible to cut because the plate would keep sliding around on the slippery designer table made of bathroom tiles. Not impressed at all, especially at the price point. To save yourself some money and a lot of time, the beautiful decor is best enjoyed from photographs.

Had a lovely quiet date night with my partner. It wasn’t planned in advance but we were fortunate to get a table. I’ve been here many times previously but as usual the service was exemplary. a young lad called Toby guided us through the menu, made some recommendations and added to the experience. The food was, as usual, sensational, and a great mix between quality and quantity. We had three courses and left stuffed to the gills. We’ll certainly be back again soon for the service and the delectable food.

3 course Christmas meal. Tasted nice, portion size a bit small. Have had more turkey in my sandwiches. Could have eaten Xmas pud in one mouthful. 3/5 as I only felt like I ate 3/5 of my dinner.

Our christmas party was so much fun! The service was great, well done to the team especially our waiter Toby for handling our party so well and making sure everything went smoothly! The food was yummy!

Amazing place! We enjoyed everything! Elegant interior, super delicious food, helpful and friendly staff! We visited Browns on Wednesday evening with some friends for a birthday celebration. We all had a really lovely time! The restaurant was decorated really beautifully and so was perfect for a celebration. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress Faye really looked after us and provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make the evening special. Thanks for a really great evening!

Excellent art deco cafe/restaurant. Afternoon tea was very nice, a little expensive but worth it as a special treat. Staff were attentive. Only criticism from someone from Devon was the scones for the cream tea were small, doughy and not fruit scones. Apart from that though would recommend a visit if in the city.

We were having a day in Cambridge and fancied trying a bottomless brunch, Brown's came up in the Google search and didn't disappoint. The venue was lovely and the brunch super yummy. Our waiter Ash was excellent, super friendly and chatty making us feel welcome. He kept our drinks topped up and really looked after us. Will definitely be coming back when we are next in Cambridge.

Had a party of 10 people dining in at Browns. I was pleased they were easy to work with as they didn't ask for upfront money to secure booking which is unusual these days. On the flip side they had quite a few dishes missing due to a problem with delivery. However even with the limited menu the food was still very impressive and of a good standard! I really enjoyed the scallops, steak and my profiteroles :) Thank you Max for your help.
