My father passed away in 2015 and he had used BMK all his business life. However getting information out of them was nigh on impossible and they simply didn't answer my emails and letters. It wasn't until another lawyer wrote to them, did they reply and provide information. Horrible law firm, best avoided and if I could give them 0 stars, I would.

My father died on the 17 July 2014. As his will was held by TJ and WA Dykes (part of BMK Wilson) my mother and I instructed them to administer the estate. I am writing this review on the 28 May 2016, not far off 2 years from my father’s death. The whole sorry saga would take too long to write but the main points of our experience of BMK Wilson are that they did not regularly update us despite numerous phone calls. That the original advice given by Dykes was not the best. This was because the original solicitor was principally a litigation solicitor not a specialist private client solicitor. BMK Wilson admitted that there had been delays in administrating the estate and actually discounted some of the fees to reflect this. They made numerous typographical errors such as getting the date of death wrong, referring to me as James which was my father’s name, spelling surnames wrong. What really was disappointing was that despite being copied in on numerous emails, their client relations partner did not bother to contact us. My confidence in this company was so eroded that I had to get my own solicitor to check the paperwork that BMK Wilson had produced in order to check it was correct. I cannot recommend this company. I had to give a 1 star rating in order to post the review. They do not even warrant 1 star.
