Bill’s Spinningfields Restaurant – manchester

Restaurant is cozy and we always feel really comfy there. Even due all restrictions in place is great place to visit. It wasn’t really busy on our last visit what was good to have nice and lovely meal. Staff is really friendly and experienced. Restaurant is clean and tidy with perfect decor. Meals was really delicious. I have enjoyed slow cooked rib with mash potatoes and red wine sauce. Meat was nice tender and juicy compliment all component on plate. My Mrs had chicken burger and chips. As desert we went for salted caramel chocolate tart with coconut ice cream and crumble. Are meals was really delicious and great to eat. I can’t wear for my next visit in Bill’s.

Always good food and service

One of our favourite places to have dinner. Everything on the plate was pure perfection and the flavour combo was perfect. You can tell that whoever has cooked this really cares about food and not just filling an order. The staff was really Attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I would recommend to anyone, this has set a very happy tone to my day.

The interior is just magical! Never felt such coziness inside the restaurant.The cocktails amazing as well! I can definitely call it one of the hidden gems of the city

Rubbish service don't bother.

I've been about 4 or 5 times now and each time has been enjoyable. Bill's has a great breakfast and I cannot recommend the eggs Royal enough. So good. I'm not big on full English breakfasts but my girlfriend is and she said it's great. Being able to add on items to your dish is nice too, like if you wanted to add an egg, smoked salmon, etc. The staff are usually very warm and friendly. But the reason this is 4 stars is there has been an occasion where the staff serving us (not naming them) were quite cold. I understand everyone has off days, and having worked in the service industry myself before I understand that sometimes you really just would rather be somewhere else, but the customer shouldn't be feeling that sort of energy. I worked in McDonald's before but I always smiled at the customer because that was part of the job - no matter how much I wished it wasn't at the time. That's not to say that all the staff are like this. They're not. I've had the nicest people serve us before who I was able to briefly chat with because they were so bubbly and friendly. The menu itself I do feel is a bit limited. There's not a lot of choice unless you're someone who's a fan of classic English dishes. If you are then you're fine. But I like variety and I find I'm always ordering the same things whenever I go to Bill's. Overall its a really nice atmosphere with really interesting decor and good food, but the menu could do with some expansion or switching out some dishes for something new.

Great place to dine. Food was very good. Service was good. We love the decor. Just can't go wrong with Bill's. Always been a fan of their breakfasts/brunches but their dinner menu did not disappoint. In Bill's we trust!

First time eating here. Last minute decision and they accommodated us without any issues. Food was excellent. Staff fabulous. Marco was so lovely. There was ever so slightly an issue and it was rectified immediately and was ever so apologetic. Will definitely be dining there again.

Fab, quirky setting. Great, friendly staff. Simple menu but veggie and meat choices. Well priced. We went early doors so fairly quiet.

We had a great experience at Bills this morning. We didn't have a booking, which is almost a necessity in the current climate. Although they were fully booked the manager shuffled a few things around and managed to get us in. The manager really did us a favour in doing so which set a great tone. When we sat down we cheekily asked if they were still doing breakfast (Was 11:40 and breakfast finished at 11:30) the waitress said totally fine, she said 'you got here at 11.25' and gave us a wink. The staff were really lovely here, very accommodating. Best service we had in our long weekend in Manchester. Pancakes were really nice and fluffy. Was very happy with our meal and experience.
