We had a lovely 2 night stay. Bed comfy, bathroom huge and the staff were super friendly. The restaurant is bloody amazing. We dined there both nights, meals were exceptional, price was on point and the service was great. The only negative was the rain, rain and more rain!!! Thanks to all, we will be back❤

Friendly service starting from the minute we arrived. I skipped Booking.com and booked through directly. The staff were accommodating and well experienced.A Five-star services for affordable rate. Good old fashioned service is quite rare to find these days, but the Ambassador on Ruthven ticked all scores. Will definitely stay there again.

Thank you so much for providing us with a beautifully appointed and comfortable place to stay. Incredible value for money; so quiet and clean. We can’t thank the lovely owner enough for sorting out our transport to a function. We will stay again and happily recommend. The Bells from Armidale.

Was a decent place to stay but unfortunately the stay has been soured after we were accused of having a party and being loud when we were not there all night due to being out in town. Staff were rude at check in and on a call to tell us about the complaints before we could even explain how it was not possible so sad to say not impressed with the customer service at all. Will not be staying here again and we will find alternate accommodation.

2/ 5

The motel room was jaded and old. There was a tear in both the chiffon and heavy drapes. The carpet was getting thin and a strip torn across the doorway where the floor underneath was visible. One half of the mirror doors was just ply. The air conditioner needed cleaning, it made my eyes water when turned on. The restaurant had a decent menu, available as room service. Staff were pleasant.
