My husband bought a thumb ring for me, but the ring was too big. We went today to get a refund because I saw nothing else I liked, but they would only offer an exchange or a credit note. If it had been a piece of jewellery for a piercing, I can understand refusing a refund because of hygiene reasons. But it was a thumb ring. The girl that served didn't even give a reason as to why they would not refund and the only sign posted was a dog eared piece of card that stated when buying "body" jewellery because of health and hygiene reasons no exchange/refund would be offered.

I went in today after getting my septum pierced yesterday and the ball falling off within a few hours. The gentleman who served me was really sympathetic and gave me 2 balls for free. It was so lovely of him and completely turned my day around!! Thank you so much!!

Bought a ring, only tried it on and willing to exchange, however the staff claims there are suddenly multiple scratches and no willing to take it back - this was sold to me in this exact condition. Going back in 2 days to speak to the supervisor, will update my review then.

I bought a ring for £36 that was meant to be silver. On all social media they say their rings are silver, however within a day of wearing my ring it turned a majority of my ring finger green, and had a horrid copper smell. I tried to contact them through the Afflecks website through email and their Instagram to inquire about a refund but to no avail on each.

Bought two pieces of jewellery from here. The first one snapped and the second one wasn’t the size they told me it was and was too big for my piercing. Unable to return due to hygiene reasons even though they were at fault.

Avoid this place at all costs. Staff are very rude, and faulty earrings I bought couldn’t be exchanged even though I didn’t use them and tried to bring them back 5 mins after purchase. Won’t be back and very disappointed.
