Telford Hotel & Golf Resort – Telford

I booked to go for a Spa day on a partner website for my husbands birthday. The deal included access to all facilities, a massage and lunch. We arrived at 9:30am and after completing the questionnaire and ordering lunch we were led to the locker room. The spa has few facilities, 1 large pool, a steam room, an ice shower, a sauna and 2 heated stone chairs. The massage was really nice, really good to get all the knots out of my back and have a body scrub. We had the massage together and the girls were fantastic, very professional. Lunch was disappointing, the menu was really minimal, starter was a tomato soup, mains had 4 options of a chicken salad, tomato pepperoni pizza, a fish pie or a vegan dish. We upgraded to get fries on the side at £3.50 a portion. My husband had a chicken salad, which was a few lumps of chicken on 1 lettuce leaf 😂 my pizza looked very sad, but not as sad as our fruit pudding, we were expecting a fruit compote turned out it was a fruit salad, which tasted like it had, had better days and was a few days old. We did want to upgrade for a brownie or ice cream, but to remove the fruit for another option cost £6.50, which felt extortionate. Overall, we really enjoyed our massage, the spa facilities weren’t great, there was no soap in the showers and some areas there was rust and dirt. I would come back just for the a massage, but for the spa and food definitely not.

I actually work for the coming at one of our different hotels forest pines, I came to work here for 2 days in the leisure department. From a customers point of view I think the facilities are amazing... Kathy from breakfast what an absolute credit to the company I have watched her for 2 days and she is incredible with the customers... leisure what a team so welcoming. I must say I will be back as a guest for sure. The staff are extremely plesant

I stayed at this hotel as part of a hen party this weekend and the customer service of the staff was excellent. Stewart and Ryan from the bar delivered the best experience and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing night after returning from the Ibiza classics festival! Nothing (at all) was too much trouble and based on our experience I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel and a visit to the hotel bar. Thank you guys, your an absolute credit to the place!! I don’t know if your employer offer incentives or employee of the month etc…. If they do, you are both certainly worthy winners!

Just finished a Golf break at Telford and overall was fantastic. Consistent top notch service. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Bedrooms very impressive. Golf course was great. A small criticism would be the state of the bunkers but overall 3 very happy golfers!

This is a really good hotel in an excellent location, situated close to a housing development with views over open countryside with plenty of car parking, excellent Staff and excellent facilties including indoor Swimming Pool, Spa, Sauna, Fitness room and Golf course. The accommodation and public areas are very clean and well maintained. The included, excellent, buffet-style breakfast includes English and "Continental" fayre. The restaurant also serves lunches and dinners with "The Gorge" serving light snacks, refreshments (hot and cold drinks plus alcohol) and Afternoon Teas during the day. The Staff are very welcoming, efficient, pleasant and helpful without being intrusive and, definitely, make this hotel as great as it is. Very well done to all Staff and, Thank you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
