This is a nice hotel. Staff are lovely. Very helpful. Try their best but rushed off their feet as short staffed. Rooms are nice enough. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. This is a very busy hotel so book your room in advance. Good food. You are charged for car parking

The staff here are totally fab, really polite and helpful. The hotel in general seems run down, like they just don't have the maintenance budget, it was very clean, but little things - like mouldy bits in the bathroom, paint missed and dirty walls really stood out. It's a shame because I felt like the staff make it such a welcoming and lovely place - 5 stars for them, and 2 for the actual hotel 🤷‍♀️ We also ate in the restaurant - food was lovely and the staff were equally as brill as the rest of the hotel staff.

3/ 5

Stayed here for one night with some work colleagues. Really nice lobby, bar and restuarant, checked in by a lovely lady. The food in the restaurant was very tasty, the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Within short walking distance of local amenities. The shower could have done with a shower curtain as well as the small glass screen; the powerful shower head soaked the floor despite my best efforts to position it the other way and I had to mop up with my towel. My colleagues had the same problem. The room because very warm at about 3am, there is air conditioning in the rooms but it's rather noisy. The other option was to open the window, unfortunately there was an equally noisy fan right outside so I chose to suffer the heat in the end. We paid for breakfast the night before so it cost £10, otherwise it would have been £15. It was just a standard hotel breakfast, full english, continental or toast. Not worth £10 in my opinion but it did set us up for a long day. Overall I would recommend this hotel. The issues were minor inconveniences overall and I did get a good nights sleep which is all I really expected!

1/ 5

Well over priced for the service & facilities, swimming pool & changing rooms outdated & need refurbishment, broken rail into jacuzzi, room nothing special for £132, shower dripped out & taps very slow in room, bar & restaurant very expensive, had a pint of Guinness tasted disgusting, main toilets flooded & overflowed, complained to member of staff about all of this & wasn't interested, will never ever stay here again or recommend! How this place is 4 star is a miracle!
