Tesco Express oxford

Can’t argue with the prices. Sainsbury’s next door was charging £23.50 for a bottle of Captain Morgan rum that was £16 in Tesco (Don’t judge me... It’s for the Christmas cake!). Four Stars (only minus 1 because they need to up their pastry game. Tough croissant competition with neighbours like Sainsbury’s [excellent pastries] and M&S just across the road).

I popped in here regularly for a few weeks when on a job in the area. Good for meal deal, breakfast pastries, and Costa coffee machine! Always friendly service

Open all the hours you could need, great stock well tailored to the local market, nice open layout with light airy decor and well designed check out area. Welcoming, helpful pleasant staff, can't fault it.

Has the basics but I went early eve and a whole fridge section was empty. Im guessing they keep limited stock of perishables. The choice of most foods in a neighbour rival similar size store was better however.

Normally quite good with good staff. Was a bit annoyed when the lady behind the till thought it was her duty to comment on my purchase of cigarettes. I realise smoking isn’t healthy but I didn’t realise that staff were allowed to comment on customers purchases.

Completely useless, they dont even bother to stock the shelves.

Very overpriced. Please don't buy from here unless it is an emergency. Go for superstore not express shops.

It is a small place, but offers everything in general, and the Meal deal prices are resonable ( £3 )
