Good chinese with a smaller than usual menu, no Thai or Korean just Chinese. The plus side to this, in my opinion, is that the food was fresher, it was piping hot and the servings were large. It is definitely a place we will revisit

The atmosphere is great and whilst small plenty of room is afforded to each diner which is a rare commodity these days. The food is exceptional and will mean I will be back. The staff are friendly and attentive. All in all a great experience.

We went in and had the banquet menu for two. All in all the food was very tasty - in particular the Cantonese pork (which we had switched from the monkfish). The rice was fluffy and everything was very flavourful. The portions are more than enough for two people. The only downside for me was the soup was a little bland and there wasn’t much meat on the duck. It was still good on the whole though! Decor is simple and generally quite dark. Staff are friendly and attentive. It gets quite busy which is a testament to how good it is. We would return!

Really good meal at a really good price after finding it on google and taking a gamble based on reviews. £11.90 for a chicken curry and a soft drink. Considering I had lunch in the number 1 rated Chinese restaurant in Glasgow last week at twice the price for same thing. I was very happy. Food and portion size was a lot better at Karen's Unicorn. I really liked the small touch of giving you a jug of water with your prawn crackers. Nice little touch I've not saw anywhere else. Will be back at some point

Had a lovely meal, prawn crackers kept being refilled. Only downfall was the girl who served us couldn't show me how to use the chopsticks. Overall well worth a visit.

Best Chinese I have had in a long time. The food itself is delicious, the service efficient and friendly. The dessert menu very small, but otherwise I could not recommend this more.

Visited this restaurant on trip to Edinburgh this week. Quite simply the best Chinese food we've eaten for a long time and very good value for money. Would recommend this restaurant a must if you are in the city.
