We had a lovely experience, the food was absolutely amazing, the staff was so helpful and friendly. My partner and myself chose different dishes for each courses so we could experience as much as we could. We started off with breads and olives and a bottle of red wine but our starters came out so fast, one after the other, I was a little bit annoyed because my plate that I was using for our bread and olives (appetizers) was being taken away from me without any choice by the waiter because of the starters coming out to the table. I think the starters should have come out when the customer has finished the appetizers or at least ask. Other than that, everything else was absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Tasty food and lovely restaurant

Very friendly and welcoming. We both chose the chowder, it was deliciously rich and creamy. Our kids had mussels and a burger, no kids menu, so huge portions, but they both tucked in merrily. For those on a higher budget, the lobster and steak being eaten at the table next to us looked amazing. Just about squeezed in a pudding, I'm glad we found space as it was yummy. A lovely spot for lunch in a wonderful location, would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

The restaurant was so great! It blew my mind in every aspect. The food, drinks, service and the view were all really great. (with reasonable price) We also ordered the dessert, baked cherries, which was super impressive. Definitely recommend for people to come and enjoy:)

Been here a few times and it's always brilliant. Had to find a dinner plan on Hogmanay as another restaurant cancelled very last minute and their service was amazing. Fantastic food and drink too at a fraction of the price you might pay elsewhere in Edinburgh.
