We had the tasting menu and the food was excellent. We also had the accompanying wine flight which was also excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We live close to this restaurant so I had been excited to come here for a while, awaiting the right occasion. We had some exciting news to celebrate

The restaurant is really worthwhile its star. We chose the 6-course menu which was a combination of great tastes, well prepared and beautifully presented

Really lovely restaurant. Staff were welcoming and happy to help, explain what dishes were etc. The food was really tasty; well balanced and thought out so all the flavours and textures worked nicely. Good wine list.

Classy, beautiful cooking, remarkably professional front of house staff, smart, relaxed, modern. We just had quite duperb 'taste of the sea' set dinner with very lovely three-glass wine flight. Really enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

A great restaurant on many levels. Very well cooked and prepared food. Interesting selection of courses. Very good wine to go with each course. Staff work very hard and pay a lot of attention. The owners focus upon clients having a top quality dining experience. Consequently, Wilks is expensive. It is a special treat.

A fantastic restaurant, each dish was imaginative and full of flavour and the pairing of wines with each plate of food was outstanding... and as for the front of house people, so polite and very knowledgeable about the menu....quite simply one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.

Lovely restaurant set in a nice part of town. A visit to Chums down the street is a must. Loved the decor and ambiance of this restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful. Tried chicken and hare for mains which were both amazing. We enjoyed all three courses and had a great family hook up there. Great place to take time enjoy food and wine. Good idea to have a look at menu before you go as it is easy to get carried away and spend more than initially planned.

One of the best food experiences of my long life.. Everything perfectly executed.. The wine matched the food perfectly. Although I chose it..,! The prices are not for the faint hearted...

Worth it. Arriving early means it’s a bit quiet. But the food is terrific.
