Wilco Motosave york

Bit weird. Just tried to book my car in for a service but was told they don't take bookings more than two weeks in advance (the date I wanted was 13 days away). Must be so busy they don't need the business. Or something's happening in two weeks that isn't public yet. Very odd as I've used them for years with no problems. Edit: Called in person, booked car in, all serviced/MOT done to the usual great standard so changed to a 5 star review. Must've been a glitch (or the trainee on the phone when I called).

Phoned to ask about a towbsr for my car. Neil was very helpful and was happy with price .When I went in to pay i had a lot off change in bags and this didn't bother them they were happy to count it .ex customer service and will defiantly reccomnemd .Thank u Neil a credit to your company

Absolutely Disgusted with Motosave on Malton Road in York!! They told my daughter that her vehicle needed a new steering rack for her car and that it would cost her £1,500 to fit it. They also told her that her car was dangerous to drive and it would invalidate her insurance if she did drive it... The car is not even worth £1,500! We then went to a reputable independent garage with MOT testing station and had the car fully safety tested to be told that there was nothing wrong with the steering rack. The MOT testing station did however replace the handbrake cable which had seized up. Motosave did not look for or find this fault. Avoid Motosave at all costs you could be paying for parts that you don't need, and they could miss important things that you do need!

Really great service, better prices and well stocked. Why go to places like Halfords when you have this available!

Brilliant experience. They offered me free brake check when I quoted myself for repairing snapped handbrake cable. Kind mechanic came to ask if he can check what's exactly wrong and in a few minutes sorted it for me because the reason was just handbrake handle/button. Indeed it was easy to fix but I was charged £0 and that's very friendly customer approach from Wilco! Before that a year ago I was remaking broken license plate with then and even though it took a while to reattach it to my car, they charged me just advertised price. Thank you, will use your service again in the future if needed.
