This place is absolutely terrible. They drilled into my tooth in order to attempt to find my root canals, and in doing this they literally made a hole in my tooth where there was no canal. The woman dentist is extremely rude and uneducated. This place should be shut down.
It's ture they are charging 20£ deposit (defendable) to book appointment!! Not sure If I should book appointment for by 3 years kid.
Awful service. Will refuse to do NHS Treatment (which they are not allowed to do) and instead claim that the only option is to go Private. Constantly trying to up-sell services and pressure you into parting with hundreds of pounds. Avoid this dentist if you, don't want to be illegally pressured into paying for unnecessary private treatment.
After waiting for 30mins I was refused treatment that was under the NHS and was recommended to go to a specialist (private) instead. Even though my treatment is on band 2. Afshan Sham dentist refused my NHS treatment! Avoid at all costs they pick and choose who they want. I’ll be complaining to NHS and taking this further.
I have to leave a positive review for this dentist surgery despite alot of poor reviews I have never had any problems with them, Dr Sham has looked my teeth for 20 years including my children until they all flew the nest. The previous receptionist could be quite blank but she got on with me Dr Sham was always honest and never charge for what wasn't necessary like alot of dentist s and its a little community dentists place not the big ones which have hygienists attached that charge a fortune!
**Avoid this dental surgery** Afshan Sham is a disgrace to her profession. She has no communication skills, is unapologetically condescending and outrageously rude. How on earth is she still a fully registered practicing dentist. If you have experienced this disgusting attitude and behaviour from her I implore you all to make a formal complaint against her via the General Dentist Council. She must be struck off.
I've had to deal with this dental practice a few times since the Pandemic has started. The receptionist is a lovely and caring person but what a contrast to the head dentist there Afshana Shems. Mirroring what the rest of the Google reviews on here say basically a very undignified and rude person to be in such a profession were you need care and professionalism. I urge people who are unhappy with this practice to leave NHS reviews on the NHS website so it can mount up against them. Shame on this practice. Advice for all new patients : Be very aware as not only will you have zero patient care but you will probably leave worse off financially and your teeth will be ruined.
I had two route canals by this dental practice and Jason did a good job. I'm not in any pain as I was before. He told me what he can do, gave me the option and completed the job. I'm happy.
I recently attended this clinic for a check up and though I received treatment for my teeth, I found the attitude of the dentist very patronizing and I felt hurt by the way she spoke to me as if I'm a child. I don't take any pleasure in leaving a negative review but what's the point in leaving a positive review if my recent and previous appointments left me feeling hurt by the way the dentist spoke to me? I mean, was it necessary to say that she can't brush my teeth for me as if to suggest that I am incapable of doing it for myself? I took that patronizing and disrespectful remark with grace, but my feelings were left very hurt and especially after being told to endure intense toothache for up to 3 weeks before I am allowed to have my teeth checked is harsh and uncaring.
