Lovely shop, fantastic service. I was a bit nervous entering the store with questions like "how is a tuxedo different from a suit?.." but Ben and colleagues made me feel very comfortable, answered all my embarrassing questions, and didnt leave me feeling pressured to buy anything (full disclosure, after some consideration I came back to buy the tux we'd put on layaway)

Just for buying some postcards (offered in front of the door) I entered this shop... and stepped into a kind of magical place. As a female German tourist all these men´s wear to me looked gorgeous, at first sight. Although not aimed to buy anything (more than the postcards) Martin and Michael took much time for having an absolutely kind talk with me... funny, open minded and with all respect for the producers of "their" clothes. It´s a " you must go to" place ! Don´t miss it when you discover Oxford. See you next time, again ; )

I ordered a full Scottish highland dress through Walter's. It came on time and the service was excellent. Martin has been very professional and a great help. So many shops nowadays dont cater for men only. NOT this place - Walter's of Oxford is the place to shop if you're a gentleman. My kilt and I will be flying out to Hawaii for my wedding day in Maui.
