Village Hotel Wirral liverpool

Had heard some really good things about the new Pub & Grill here so came for a meal with the girls last Friday and it really did live up to expectations. Gorgeous interior to rival places in Liverpool or Heswall, the cocktails were brilliant and quite reasonably priced and the food was delicious. To top it all the staff were superb, really friendly and professional and they made us feel so welcome, we had a fab night and will definitely be back :) x

Have been a member here on and off for more than twenty years and seen many changes. The updated gym is always better but I really don't like the decor. The pub area has no class with large screen TVs dominating the room. This used to be a nice room where we would meet friends for a drink but the ambience is not inviting any more. Would not consider this place for a meal either. Only given three stars as the gym and pool are good but wish they would do something about people coming out of the sauna with sweaty T shirts who jump straight into the pool.

A friendly, professionally run hotel where staff cannot do enough for you. Rooms are well maintained and spotlessly clean. I will be returning.

Reception was modern and welcoming, room was decent quality, but our stay was severely let down by the dining experience. Previously there had been a restaurant and separate bar, but this has been replaced with a Sports Bar feel pub / restaurant. We booked with family and kids based on a previous stay where the restaurant had been perfect for family and kids, but the restaurant had been refurbished since our last stay. The food was nice enough as pub grub, but we were sat in the corner of what felt like a pub or bar with our kids with football blaring out of half a dozen screens - it really wasn’t what we’d thought we were booking. Restaurant manager was good and discounted our meals but I don’t think we’ll be hurrying back to. Village hotel with kids.

Christmas Party at The Village Bromborough! Great evening! Food and entertainment were enjoyable! Rooms were colourful and clean! The outing was made by the staff, who were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you! They seemed so happy in their work! Would recommend! 🙂

The deal we have had has been excellent. Two night stay comfortable, clean room. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Evening meal in the restaurant was very very good and the staff were superb. Breakfast was equally as good. Thank you for a great stay would not hesitate to come back. Short walk to the station.

I attended a Christmas party evening last night. I had only taken cash with me. I didn't know that The Village Hotel was card payment only. My two friends had to buy my drinks for me all night. How embarrassing. It does say on their website that they only take card payments. But I don't book the venue. Soup was very nice and a good old fashioned Turkey dinner. Coffee cheesecake for dessert. My friends were very happy to hear that I don't like coffee flavoured dessert and they could share it. I was surprised to see how many desserts went back to the kitchen. What a waste.

Spent four nights in the Village Hotel, probably the best hotel stay I've ever had. Couldn't fault a thing, great staff, lovely clean rooms with ensuite, super comfy rooms with crispy linen, great breakfast and evening meals. Highly recommended.

Didn't realise how good these hotels are! Extremely clean and spacious rooms. Staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend and would return in a heartbeat!
