I went here a few times yo open a bank account for my daughter. The first time I made the appointment the bank employee a male made the appointment didn't asked for my bank details because this is my bank. He just wrote down my details on the computer I go in on the day it was made. This man was off. The other employee a female said oh we tried to ring you to cancel the appointment but you didn't answer the phone. Said and your appointment was 9am. I said it was 10.30am and you didn't ring my mobile because my phone is always on. They said they left a voice call which they didn't. They wouldn't let me use the reference letter from my daughter school. They asked me to get another reference which I did. It said on the letter how they knew my daughter. It ever said for them to ring up to speak to the school and her teachers etc. I made another appointment on the Saturday. When this next appointment was made it was sent to straight to my phone and emai but the first one wasn't. I go in with my daughter details. The second reference letter from the school. They wouldn't take it again because it didn't say how long they knew my daughter. I said it has a letter head of the school everything you asked for. It says to ring up the school so you can find out the details that way. In the end I asked can I speak to other employers there because he knows me my sister because we both used to work with him this lady said no I said I would like to see him. She wouldn't let me. I told my sister she told her friends who still work for TSB but in different branches they even said this lady was being really difficult here want I bought in was good enough she should have taken it. I now made another account in a different bank because of this lady and I hope my daughter has not lost out on her school bursary account because I was told by my daughter school she needs her own account. This has been going since around the beginning of May. With covid the Bank account appointment I made with the other bank was cancelled twice because of I had to self Isolate and the employee of the same Bank were we have another appointment next week.
