Absolutely delicious! What a fantastic find. Delicious scallops and venison. My partner had pork shoulder which was tastier than some of the best steaks. We normally take pictures but we were hungry and the food looked too good to wait. Thank you for a great evening.

What a great place! It manages to combine a great ambience with excellent food and reasonable prices to deliver a lovely evening out. The timing of the courses is just right.... All too often these days restaurants rush you through courses (very American! ) which doesn't allow you time to really enjoy the dining out experience, the Wee Restaurant has got this just right. Our starters and main courses were cooked beautifully and tasted great and whilst the menu might be considered "limited" by current standards, that just ensures that what is available is perfect in every way and sometimes its nice to be forced to choose from a small menu, the good news is you're going to get something really good. Our only criticism is they need to brush up on making liqueur coffee but apart from that it was very, very good. Coupled with a good wine and beer list this restaurant is definitely one to add to your "must visit" list in Edinburgh.

I had very enjoyable evening there with my friends when visiting Edinburgh last weekend. Amazing food! Venison cooked to perfection and onion soup to die for! Waitress Siobhan really knew her stuff and had great recommendations, great service overall attentive but not bothersome. I highly recommend this place!
