Always a good local pub. Food hit, tasty and well presented. Good choice of wine. Reasonable prices. Love the fact they have a variety of entertainment on. Music choice enjoyable and not too loud.

I made a booking for my birthday for a group of 9 looking to have lunch and also have view of a screen to watch the football, which is why we specifically picked this pub. The lady on the phone assured me that they could accommodate this. I rang for a second time the day before our booking to check that we would be able to see a screen which they confirmed. When we arrived, our table was in a corner with no view of any screen and the staff didn’t really care and just told us to sit in the back yard area where everyone was smoking and there wasn’t even space for 9 people eating. Not a great experience, we ended up going to another place for lunch.

Good pub. It plays the sport on the screens which is good, and turns off the music when their is a game/race on. They are very organized with their booking and the staff are aware and on everything. I thought they were better than required for a pub so we’ll done there! The Sunday roast is large. Dogs are also allowed. Their is a nice beer garden. I would recommend for game days

Came here for a work Christmas dinner. Great pub, a stein of cider is always a good thing. I had salmon with chowder and it was fantastically cooked. The coffee shop next door is also pretty nice, didn't realise they were the same place at first. Staff were great too. Thanks for everything.

An absolutely fantastic pub and restaurant. Dined with a large party for Christmas dinner and all aspects, the food, service, atmosphere and setting, were exquisite. Can't wait to go back and try the mulled wine soon!

Great location by the river..ish the right amount away from the city centre that you don't have to deal with the chaos but close enough you can join it after a few pints. The staff are terrific, they know their stuff, always have a smile and some banter. The food is great and it's just a top class pub in Cambridge. That's why it gets busy so book a table if 6ou know you'd rather sit.

Visited for these first time since early 2020, and had a great Sunday dinner. My wife had a veggie Sunday dinner which she thought was great. Ordering food and drinks can still be done by the app via app (which I think is one of the silver linings of the covid cloud!).
