If you want a quick cheap pint in town when you're maybe waiting to meet a friend or waiting for your tram then pop in here. The decor could do with an update but for a cheap ale I found it was just what I needed. Good selection of ales and as if it wasn't cheap enough low and behold it's even cheaper on a Monday. Can't go wrong.

One of the best Wetherspoons in the city. Lots of room. Service can be slow due to size of the bar. Not great kids as too busy. But good beer, good atmosphere, food is what you expect in that it does a job. It’s an alright place that might be too busy for some.

It was fine to stop in and have a drink. It's got broken furniture piled up in corners, stains over the walls, it's clearly seen better days. The sort of place you go to for one drink and go, if you're like me, but if you're a bunch of men in groups looking for a cheap place to drink in all day/night then this is probably what you're looking for.

Food was okay and we were served quickly considering how busy the venue was. I ordered a chicken and bacon panini, and it came with hardly any chicken so we had to send it back. Good place for cheap fast pub food.

Great beer at decent prices in a large sprawling venue with lots of rooms. Easy to find a table in a room quiet enough to chat comfortably. What's not to like? The fried chicken is good too and for a measly sum!

A nice pub in a good location, the usual Wetherspoon's food and ale at a very reasonable price. The food was well presented and hot when it came. Drinks were also good, staff were friendly and polite. I visited late afternoon on a Wednesday and service time was very good, however it was very busy by the time I left at 18.30 so would recommend booking a table in advance.

'Spoons always like an old building to vamp into a pub and this is one of the more historic looking places. Lovely old brick building with the maze of rooms only slightly opened up to retain the feel of the original house. Staff are above average for 'Spoons staff. No disrespect meant but it's not often a 50 something Genesis fan can have an intelligent conversation about prog rock with the waiter. Would definitely go back.

Nice enough smaller sized Wetherspoon bar. Just stopped in for a bite to eat and whilst the plate of sirloin and chips looked a bit underwhelming, I honestly have to say it was one of the best cooked and tastiest stakes I’ve had in a very long time. Was tempted to order another one it was so good!!!

Always know what you're going to get at a Weatherspoons. Place was full and the only place to sit was by a window.....and I was cold. There didn't appear to be any heating in the room. Need to find a better spot next time.

Bit scruffy and dirty but the food is good and the staff are nice. I had a delicious buttermilk chicken burger while resting my feet previous diners food, I wanted the toilet and I was about to brave the 756 stairs but I found my elbow was stuck to the table with previous diners drinks. I then turned to look out of the window and saw a man with his willy out. Oh such fun...
