Close to the city center but easily find parking in the multi-story on Charles Street. Even if traveling into the city by train, is only a limited walk from the Piccadilly train station. This will probably take about 10 minutes. is a well laid out place and whilst attending for meetings, is fairly quiet. occasionally meeting rooms in other hotels tend to get noisy due to either some party or other function taking place in an adjoining room. This place is geared up more for several meetings and to make sure that noise is isolated

Very convenient location, in the vicinity of the main train station. Rooms are clean, basic and fairly small, but practical. I appreciated the fact that I have found a decent desk, an ironing board, an iron and a hair dryer. I have also found the bathroom clean and proportionally sized. Two negative notes: - the mattress in my room was very springy, below average - noise insulation can be improved. Other guests in adjacent rooms could be heared while watching TV or having a shower. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for leisure, on the other hand if you are travelling for business and you need a central base, go for it.

Attended HTC-One conference. Hotel 6 minute walk from Piccadilly Station. Pendulum Suite comfortable seating with large projector screen, front and central, with chairs positioned facing it rather than, as usual, round the tableb saves neck strain. Refreshments plentiful ( cookies very moreish and a good cup of tea ) and lunch (both hot and sandwich options served) in another room. Excellent venue and the speakers were interesting, too.

Good Central hotel for cheapish prices however no parking available for free have to park in University parking and pay per hour/day. Hotels with no parking should be able to give guests a parking pass. Seemed like the hotel was in a dodgy area at times

A hotel of halves. Lovely lobby area, intriguing pendulum, surprisingly good cooked breakfast. The rooms, however, are very shabby. Things are clean, but there is plenty of scraped paint, missing fittings and generally a low quality finish. There is also no parking, though they do say so and a multi-storey car park is a two minute walk away.

Nightmare of a stay on 16/10/2021 checked in.. Bathroom sink was clogged and there was a tissue peace covered in blood in the wash sink. An open can of coke in the drawer from who knows when they left it. We were given a half used tissue roll and full one.. we ran out they didn't even change it. Elevator felt like it was gonna fall apart. Was taped inside as well.. We got charges 128£ on Saturday for the room where they usually charge for 56£. Double the amount You will find probably more comfort in your car than sleeping in this teeny tiny room. Went over for a night thank god it was only one night.. Staff was friendly and polite only good point and bed was clean. But apart from that 0 stars. I should have spent extra 50 quid and stayed in better hotel. Lesson learned. Thanks pendulum..

A solid 3 star hotel. The staff are excellent, along with the bar and food. The hotel was relatively clean, however someone dumped a tray of leftover food from their room service out in the hallway the evening I arrived and when I was ready to check out at 10:30am the next morning, it was still there! The doors have a massive gap under them, allowing me to hear what is going on in other rooms and also the hallway. The place, whilst mostly clean and decently decorated, does feel outdated. The room had enough 13A sockets, but only on the table across from the bed, which is fine, but one by the bed would be useful. One of the MK 13A double sockets in my room was damaged on one half of the socket (My charger wouldn't plug into it, but worked fine on the other half and the few remaining sockets). However, when I was having breakfast I did notice what I presume were maintenance electricians working in the hotel, so I do believe the hotel is being maintained correctly. The next issue I encountered was a toilet that liked to run and was playing up a few times. Despite my criticisms of the room, I was pleased to find a nice selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. The TV was decent and I was happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The location is decent, however some rooms are situated directly across from what I presume is student accommodation, which means you have to keep your curtain shut if you want an ounce of privacy.

The worst thing about this hotel was not having saved or worried about an order that I asked to be delivered there for me. Before placing the order, I called the hotel and asked if they would keep the order and deliver it to me later. They said Yes. During the entire stay at the hotel I asked for the order several times and nobody knew about the order. What is certain is that the carrier (Royal Mail) delivered the package there. In other words, i suppose the hotel lost an order I paid. Show no interest in helping or concern. And i lost money. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is very low. Rooms are too small and cleanliness is not the best. Breakfast is really poor, there's almost nothing to eat, and things end quickly. The worst breakfast I've ever had in any hotel.

To list all the issues would be pretty, suffice to say the room had less than the required number of beds and things went downhill from there. I'm glad my own dispar set in as the willingness of the staff to help or even appear sympathetic would have been an annoyance. While not the worse (and therefore most interesting) place I have stayed in for the cost it certainly was the most disappointing
