The Pig york

I would move to York for this place. What a wonderful little cafe quirky, funny and not taking its self too seriously. Yummy home made food catering for pretty much any diet. If there was nothing else in York I'd still want to move closer just to go here more often. Until next time Pig and Pastry, keep up the good work x

Moved in recently in area went today with a mate was outstanding.. Food lush and staff are brilliant professional and so friendly. Very relaxing place to be well done guys As Arnie says I'll be back

Lovely place! Very friendly atmosphere, from the first moment you feel like home. Tardy food. Good choices feel like homemade.

Very very good brunch place. The coffee is good however the raspberry scones are purely amazing. The price is very good and staff very friendly. Place is busy all the time. To bad i can only rate 5*. They deserve 10*.

Absolutely loved this place so much. From the food to the staff. We visited York for a couple of days and we loved this place so much that we had breakfast there both days. The staff are warm and friendly. And the cafe was cozy. The food was always cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. This is a must in York.

Great place. Went here for breakfast. A good amount of options available, lots of veggie options. The coffee was great and the staff were lovely and helpful. I wish we had been here for lunch as I would have got one of the amazing looking desserts they have at the counter

During our week in york we have had many great breakfasts.. However the pig and pastry may have been the best. The buttermilk waffles with fruit were exceptional. The best Waffles i have ever had. The menu had everything you could ever want for brekkie and a selection of pastries, cakes and buns to take away.

What a wonderful place this is. Stopped for breakfast here twice. Staff were so friendly and food was well cooked and good quality. We bought pastry to take away aswell and was very good.

Fantastic find a short walk off the city wall. Wife pronounced the vegetarian breakfast the best she had ever eaten. My fry up was very good as well.
