Lovely meal out with friends. Selected fish mixed grill. With roasted root vegetables. Fish was lovely just don't see the point of grated carrot garnish and spring onion. Fish was well cooked, light and seasoned well. Dessert was Tiramasu, luckily we got the last two pieces which was well worth it. Would definitely go again if I visit York again.

Excellent food for a special occasion lunch, a varied menu with a Mediterranean focus. The service was friendly and efficient, food nicely presented. I had halibut which was perfectly cooked and presented in an unfussy way with roasted vegetables which were done just right - not greasy! I will return 😀

Been going for years , used to be much better food, the last time we went, we personally felt it had got worse but we recently went . The food was a pretty grim experience. Pizza was lousy , sea bass looked like they couldn’t be bothered, when it arrived it looked like it had been shot out of a howitzer from a range of 50 nautical miles , just kind of strewn over the plate. Starter was ok but again just dropped on the plate with absolutely no effort at presentation, bit of green leaf with it, no garnish no . I’m not big into grated carrot but that arrived with the fish (school dinners springs to mind ) . Then around half ten , they start hoovering up around us .. Only takes one bad meal to get a bad review . Won’t be going back again
