Had a really tasty and inventive meal here today, really something for everyone, healthy salmon for husband, hot dog for the teenager and savory crepe for me all beautifully cooked by Joe and Amy. Can heartily recommend!

Very good coffee. The most excellent cakes. And Ashburton is a nice little town.

Beware the payment machine! Had a nice breakfast here but got stung when it came to paying the bill.

Beware the payment machine! Had a nice breakfast here but got stung when it came to paying the bill. The machine asked if the service was 'good' or 'very good' (thereby restricting answers to positives) and 'tip' or 'no tip'. Having selected 'very good' (because it was) the machine then automatically added an extra £3.50 to the bill without allowing us to continue to the 'tip' or 'no tip' option! Being British I failed to voice my concerns to the manager and did not throw all of my teddy bears out of my pram. However, I will not be returning.

Nice little cafe. Gets busy quite quickly in the early morning. Their cooked breakfast is a bit odd though..the 'beans' were far too hot and spicy 🔥 for any of us to eat. Good coffee and tea etc.. probably best to stick with that
