Great food and nice selection of exotic dishes. Good portions too. Fair pricing and while the drink selection is limited, it isn't an issue. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Have been there a handful of times within the last 6 years and standards keep being up! A bit excentered but highly recommend!

Wow, this place has been around for years and although I lived in Edinburgh 30 years ago I failed to make the effort. A pal of mine was stationed in Nepal and then came to Edinburgh Uni, he speaks highly of this place and for good reason. If you like authentication fare, don't go anywhere else.

Top restaurant and well worth a visit! We visited Edinburgh and looked up some local independent eatery's for our first evening there. We fancied noodles and found the Khukuri and based on the existing reviews decided to give it a try. It was a Thursday evening so we called ahead to book, they were completely fully booked except for in 10 minutes where they had a table for a limited time. We headed down and they found us a table that was actually available for slightly longer which was brilliant. The food was delish. The portions were large and the atmosphere was buzzing because the place was packed. The decor isn't high end, but the food more than makes up for that . The staff were all super friendly and we had a lovely evening out. I would highly recommend a visit if you're looking for tasty food, great service and great value.

Had a very enjoyable lunch experience. I had the chicken thali and shared the chicken platter with a friend. Coming from London - both were economical and the food tasted good to great. A great surprising find for me and I will definitely visit this place again.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were I incredibly helpful. Only thing I can say as a warning, is don't fill up on too many starters. They are delicious, but you really want to leave room for the main course as well

A group of 4 people, for second time, we've visited this Nepalese restaurant, first time the service was slow, but the restaurant was also quiet and we could enjoy a relax afternoon there, without the hurry of nowadays. Second time, this night, it has been amazing, everything full of flavour, and faster service than before, but as I said it is not something really important for me. The momos are remarkable! We will repeat! They are also vegan friendly! With several dishes that are able to became or transform to vegan!

Food was absolutely delicious and definitely different to the norm. Generous portions and helpful staff. Toilets are down a narrow winding staircase so be careful. Would go back again.
