The Funky Fish Club & Bar brighton

Not bad, not great. Probably a great place for a hen do. Sound system could do with updating as it's like being in a living room with your parents stereo on! Music is both cheesy and odd - They played Tamperer ft Maya - Feel it. Was not expecting that!! DJ could do with playing more that 3 mins of each song too...

Good show but VERY VERY rude staff. Portray that it is hen party friendly but clearly NOT. All the staff wanted was to be somewhere else.

Went to funky fish in Brighton even though they played 80s musoc there was no camp 80s music played very sad d j not much need some one who understands the 80s

Someone likened our night at Northern Soul last night perfectly.... It was like being on the movie set of Cocoon!! Great vibe and start to the night but not really our scene

Many cons and not many pros sadly! Cons * Billed as 80/90/00 yet jumped from year to year. We had 60 & 70s thrown in too. * The crowd was aging! * The Dj was shocking. The man couldn't mix to save his life. Towards the end of the night he left the booth about 6 times just leaving the track playing right to the end. * it's just a weird place. Like your stepping into someone else's wedding disco. It's creepy. Pros * Staff and doorman were really friendly. The doorman had a lot of respect like opening doors for us. Nice guy. * Drinks were cheap. * was fun with a group of friends.

Great music and only staying in the hotel as well so free entry
