I loved this hotel for several reasons but first of all for the competent and polity people. I had to switch my arrangements two times and they did so without hassle. The hotel is perfectly located by the beach and has a nice bar with sea view which offers English breakfast. They have private club facilities which make it a crowd place on weekends. It's a 3-star hotel but perfectly fulfilled my expectation.

Good comfortable bed, nice sized room but the decor could do with a bit of a refresh. The bathroom was clean but the water pressure in the shower was very low. You have to remember that it is an old building so the stairs and corridors are very narrow, floors uneven and creaky and not as soundproof as many modern hotels. There is no lift access.

Two stars only for the location of the hotel, apart from that room and facilities are basic. I would get a better standard family room in premier Inn or travel lodge. Staff are decent and helpful, for the price I paid for I was expecting a better room quality..

2/ 5

If you’re thinking about ignoring some of the worse reviews and booking this, just don’t! Really. There’s no need to pay this much for beds that sink, rooms that you wouldn’t want to walk barefoot on, a NAIL as the handle on the faucet, and overall dingy looking room. Wasn’t the worst experience I’ve had in a hotel, but definitely was not enjoyable.
