The Esplanade Motel newcastle

The staff were exceptional they couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. Lots of restaurants and activities for the kids nearby. We recommend the Esplanade Motel highly 5 stars.

Rooms are quite and very well maintained. Location across road from bay is great and not far from restaurants.

We stayed in a family room- the motel provided an easy covid safe check in with clear instructions, it was a great location for the purpose of our trip. The motel room was very clean which we appreciated and the Queen bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure but kept going from hot to cold and back again in an instant but the bathroom itself was clean. My only downfall is since we were travelling with a baby and young teen we booked a family room but unfortunately this was right below a restaurant and we could hear every scrape, tap, person etc this made putting a baby to sleep a bit harder than we would've liked. We did ask people shouting outside our room at about 9.45pm to move on (they'd obviously had a great time at the restaurant) .. the noise did disappear though by about 10.30 and we could finally relax a bit. All in all we would stay here again but maybe request well away from the restaurant and somewhere with a view 😀

Love the new and fresh renovations and friendly staff. We stayed in one of your new Balcony lake view rooms which are a delight with the beautiful new bathrooms and luxury feel and glad to see the Wifi is now working great.

Went here for the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant is good, the foods delicious and the chefs a legend, love the experience

Good position for our needs. Allowed us early check-in which was very helpful.
