The Brighton newcastle

This is the second time we’ve stayed here while we attended a Physie comp,and this time was even better than the first. The room we had was spotlessly clean, the staff were so lovely on arrival again. I highly recommend The Brighton if your going to Toronto. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful break away.

Clean, modern room with full kitchen and aircon. Bathroom was massive and beds were comfy. Stayed for two nights and loved it. TV was little and outdated but the rest of it was great. Receptionist made us feel very welcome, and the owners we up for a chat. So glad we stayed here and would definitely recommend and come again :)

한국어로 전환 I made a reservation 20 days before using the hotel and was informed once that the check-in time is 3 but reception would close 4pm. They never mentioned I'd get different room with I booked. I booked the Water View room, but the room I got street view room that exactly opposite side of Water View rooms. And it's cheaper than water viewed rooms. I went to the reception and complained. the receptionist told me water view rooms were sold out when I booked, and she would give me a full refund to I could go somewhere else I wanted to go. It was already 5 pm and the first day of the long holiday season. Where I could go with my wife and 13 month baby?! I didn't want to ruin my holiday so I gave up arguing with her because I'm not good at English and there was no other hotel I could go that late time. That's why I spent two nights with dirty carpet in the room without sunshine all day long and smell like deep deep cave. I strongly recommend you to confirm twice or more before you get there especially user with Wotif.

Good size room . Can book 2 rooms with lounge area . Great for family

I had the pleasure of staying at the Brighton to deliver a training session in their conference room. The conference room was in good condition with all of the necessary equipment available and in good shape. The room was clean and comfortable. What made my stay really great was the people. The owners are genuinely nice people with a warm and welcoming attitude. They ensured that everything went well with the conference room, and were gracious to the guests I was training. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend thos hotel to others.

Excellent service, great rooms

Stayed here with my 8 month old and I highly recommend it. Nice and CLEAN. We were able to use the kitchen and bathroom without having to clean them first. As far as I'm concerned, it's rare to find a clean place to stay especially when you have a baby. In fact, we slept in the bed and on the pillows without using our own! My baby was able to roll around on the floor and I wasn't worried it was dirty or hadn't been vacuumed that day. The unit was set out perfectly and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The cutlery was clean, so were the microwave and fridge. All our amenities were supplied.. shower gel, soap, washing liquid, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer! The unit is perfectly set out and located across from the lake and a short walk to the main street. The managers and receptionist were exceptional. I am not rating because I know the people that run the place. Im giving my rating in detail so you know what to expect. I am grateful for the experience and will definitely stay here again.

Very helpful friendly service

The owner and service staff are very friendly and also helpful. Their "put client first" service has certainly made a difference for our stay since Day1. I will come back here again with my friends to bring them more white chocolate (owner's favarite) 😄

Everything was great from booking to checking out. The unit was very clean and well equipped, beds were comfortable and all the staff are very friendly. Look forward to staying at The Brighton again.
