Very clean and well kept classic British hotel.Great breakfast with lovely staff who were really polite and accommodating well recommended.Rooms are not the largest and we had a family room at the front facing the main road which can be noisy the sun beats down through the large windows which was lovely however no Air conditioning so our room could get hot.We could open the large front window but then you have the noisy traffic, just to make you aware. We would definitely return having said that.

Overall a very poor weekend stay here. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights . On arrival the staff were not very welcoming and you could tell they didn’t want to be there . When we got into the room it was stuffy and small . The wardrobe space is tiny with only 3 coat hangers and the room itself is tiny so walking around was a struggle . Considering we got an en-suite double room we thought we would have had more room . The room was so hot so we would open a window but soon enough it had to be closed due to the horrendous car noises coming directly opposite the room . The walls are paper thin and can hear everything going on next door which wasn’t pleasant . The breakfast was very average however the waiting time for it was bad . We had been waiting for 15 minutes then a couple came down ordered and got there food before us , we had to wait around 40 minutes for breakfast?? The bed was comfy and the shower was nice . It is around a 20 minute walk to the town Wouldn’t be coming back here again

A charming hotel that's not a complete dive. Nice comfy feel. My only complaint was that coming home in the evenings, the entire ground floor STUNK of body odor. So much, that when I went to the second floor to my room, I could still faintly smell it. Happened all three nights I stayed.

3/ 5

Although our room and ensuite were small, it was clean and tidy with the usual basics to make a hot drink. The dining room was large and the choice of breakfast good. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was no evening meal provided so it was more of a B&B than a hotel. Staff were helpful and recommended local places to eat close by. There was parking behind the hotel which was limited as often busy. We would go there again as it was clean, friendly and prices were reasonable for the area.
