St Aldate’s Post Office oxford

Incredibly inefficient. Even if you have already paid for and printed your postage onto a packaged item, you still have to wait in line behind many people who seemingly have never posted a letter before, rather than just being able to drop your package and leave. I only ever go here when I have a package too large to go via my local corner shop’s collect+ service.

Though lines can be long here, it’s no different than any other busy central post office. Staff are helpful and patient though usually short staffed to meet the demand. I try to go first thing in the morning before the queue gets too long. Overall fine experiences here.

The 4 stars are giving to the post box instead of the post office. I love the old design of post box.

Posting a package was very easy. A dedicated person was standing next to the self service machines and guided me through the process. It was a breeze.

I have not been inside here but saw this place when visiting Oxford our first time here I know if we call back anytime I would like to see what the inside of this building looks like as the outside is beautiful .

Been into this PO recently to use the self service. No que, wick and simple.

Busy but has automated tills and generally a good service.

Very friendly staff. I was very pleased with the entire service during my last visit a few days ago. I have been using this post office for years and I will continue doing as they provide the services that the post office can provide.

I've never had a problem with this post office and I always insist on sending my parcels from there. The issues people seem to have had revolve around low staff, but they forget that people call in sick and people leave - that is the reality of customer service. The staff are always very polite and helpful.

This is the worst post office I have ever been to. Very slow and unfriendly staff. Won't use it again.
