Went in for a day procedure. Staff were professional and friendly. Only had to wait a short while to go to theatre and didn't mind because the room they put me in was really nice. Was in at 12 and home by 3 after a nice coffee and sandwich!

Turned up for an appointment with a surgeon only to be told it had been moved without my knowledge. When people are travelling and going out of their way to get to an appointment on time, the least they could do is make sure patients are aware of any changes by calling them on the phone to make sure they know. I didn't receive a letter either. An apology hardy cuts it when you've arranged your week around it. I've been waiting nearly 3 months for this appointment in a fair amount of pain and still have no clue about a date for surgery.

5/ 5

Had a day-patient operation here and I cannot say more enthusiastically that this is by far the best hospital experience that I’ve had. The nurses were lovely, helpful and very competent. The doctors and surgeon were equally amazing. The room was clean and spacious and private (something which I was certainly not expecting having never had a surgery in this hospital). I was referred here by the NHS without knowing anything about the hospital, and from now on I will be requesting to be treated here as much as possible.

Rang over a week ago with referral. Fantastic system for call back to arrange consultant appointment!! Still waiting. Obviously poorly run hospital would have thought if it was private they were paid for their competence apparently not.

I was discharged yesterday having had a total hip replacement. I.d never been in hospital before and was really scared, however Staff nurse Alice who looked after me gave complete reassurance. I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Peter and all his team who have given me a new lease of life. The care and attention from everyone was second to none .Steph /Adam gave good physio care along with plenty of reassurance. My room was kept really lovely and all the meals were so yummy ! The night time staff also need a huge thank you for their care giving painkillers etc . Thank you all once again .

Thanks to Spire Hospital Liverpool I am healthy and functional, as they managed to treat a health issue that was torturing me for a whole year and was affecting my everyday life. In the beginning of next year they have booked me for a surgery that will hopefully help me get even better. A big thanks to Mr. Panarese who is the doctor that is treating me and also the two polite health workers at the x-ray department and the hospital pharmacist

this hospital seems almost unfit for purpose any more. nobody answers phones and that's the least of it. my husband who is really ill turned up for an appointment only to be told when he arrived it was cancelled. he has cancer and can hardly walk and was going there for some pain relief. it took me an eternity to get him ready to get there and back again for nothing. the lady on reception said she had rang at 9.50 am to tell him but when i rang back couldn't get through again but eventually somebody answered who didn't even work there. i told him to get the lady who had rang to contact me but nobody did so we wrongly assumed that it wasn't important. so when i said to the lady at reception that she could have tried harder to contact him and that we had rang back, she said she had other things to do. i did write into the hospital to complain but didn't even get a reply. now i have bupa trying to contact them and when the lady at bupa did get through today, she was on hold for 28 minutes and still didn't get the information she needed for my husband. i think it is utterly unacceptable and we will be looking elsewhere in future. i would give it no ratings if i could, if only it was still the lourdes and run by the nuns. then it was more than fit for purpose.

My partner has been waiting for an endoscopy appointment since his consultation in November, finally got his appointment, which the hospital kindly informed him of 4 whole days before the appointment itself🙃 since then he's received no information about the procedure despite being told he'd receive an email (he has not), and has had no answer on the phone. The automated message on the phone asks who is funding your treatment before you're put through to a person, so I can only imagine they're filtering out NHS patients so they can ignore them
