Just awful, they put things that are untrue on my file, unfriendly and unhelpful, even getting a script is a nightmare, doctors just want you in and out in 2 minutes, no time for you, latest phone call = 6 weeks wait for appointment !

After a recent issue and subsequent complaint to this practice I made a subject access request to receive copies of my records. What I found shocked me, this practice had made non medical notes on my permanent medical record, most of which in my case were either wrong or defamatory. These included defamatory remarks by staff entered on my records without my knowledge, such as remarks they have made after phone conversations with me etc. It is totally inappropriate. If you are a patient here, make a subject access request to receive FREE copies of your records and all data they hold on you. The law changed in May 2018 and these requests are now FREE OF CHARGE although they may try to tell you otherwise. There are many template letters online you can use to make the request or it can be done by phone or email. If you value the integrity of your medical records do it now.
