Came in enquiring about purchasing a helmet.... Staff weren't especially helpful or polite, basically saying "The season is over." immediately on my arrival. The season was most definitely not over. I have just returned from 2 fantastic weeks skiing with great snoe after going there! The helmet selection was poor and quite overpriced. DO wait until you get to the resorts, especially if you are going later in the season as the discounts out there are incredible! 30-50% off almost everything. Not especially impressed by Snow + Rock Brighton...

No climbing gear at all! What a disappointment. For what is suppose to be the "climbing" and "snowsports" specialist as part of Cotswold Outdoor, I was directed to the normal Cotswold Outdoor shop for climbing kit which even in there, there was only a limited choices. This shop should be rebranded as "running" and "gym" as the entire ground floor was filled with running kit! Would not recommend here at all only reason it has one star is because you can't put zero

A lot of stock in store which is good but a lot of items do not have prices and you have to ask for them.

Really good value and versatility of products, and staff are very helpful!

Top notch shopping experience, over the last few years I bought few pieces of my snowboarding gear and electronics. These guys are probably the best winter sport shop in town and they really know their stuff. Ask for Josh for best service. A+++

Decided to buy my first pair of ski boots from here. I imagined I would end up with the coolest looking best fitting ones. Instead the ones that fitted best before their custom fitting look like something even the 1980s don't want back. For 400 quid. Oh and it has been over a month and I'm still waiting for them.

Well worth the visit, even if not in stock. I went in Friday lunchtime for a specific climbing harness. After a look around I asked a member of staff (who was clearly at lunch but readily helped me anyway). We figured out I needed to order it in specially as S&R don't usually hold my size, so I gave up and said thanks anyway but I'll look at online vendors. Hold the phone, S&R do a price match, so a quick check on the competitions website resulted in £10 knocked off the price, plus delivered for free to the store for my collection in the next week or so. Good outcome from great staff.
