Purchased a used smart forfour from this dealer. Was a bit daunted going into a Mercedes dealership to purchase a smart car but it was nice to see that the smart cars were all in one area just to the left of the main doors and not tucked away in the back corner as I have found in other dealerships. Amanda-Jayne was excellent, very friendly and knowledgable. She even came in on her day off so we could test drive the car. On collection day everything went smoothly and I would recommend this dealer and esp. Amanda-Jayne
Visited Smart of York for help with our Smart EQ, original dealer (elsewhere) couldn't sort our app access. AJ at Smart of York kindly went above and beyond to enable these services for us, and had a good chat about smart cars, proving she has great product knowledge and a real interest in the brand. It gives a great impression, and I'm sure we'll visit Smart of York again, for servicing and (hopefully not, repairs).
I have just purchased a Smart Car from a lovely sales lady called Lilly, I am extremely pleased with the service received and quick responses to my queries by email and telephone. The car was delivered on the date and time agreed by a gentleman called Keith, he was also very helpful with demonstrating the features and controls of our new car. I would not hesitate in using this dealership again. 10/10 Keep up the excellent customer service
Bad customer service.
1 star is too generous!!! Car was first booked in for warranty jobs early June, they failed on fixing 2 out of 3 jobs, although advising me at the time of collection all jobs were fixed. Car then had to be booked in again to fix these jobs again along with an MOT and service. Still 1 warranty job is outstanding and car needs to go back in again. On both occasions of collecting my vehicle the car hadn't been cleaned inside or out, despite it having a sticker on to say it had. No staff were wearing face masks to protect their customers and I had to wait over 30 mins to collect my car, as only one person was working at the busiest time of the day. Everytime my vehicle has gone in for work, there has always been a problem and the car has had to be booked back in again. At 1st I thought I had chosen a bad vehicle because of the amount of times it has been in the garage, but now I believe it is not the car at fault, it is the garage who are making mistakes. I do not believe this garage is worthy of having the Mercedes-benz Smart badge, the last 2.5 years of owning a Smart Forfour has been the worst experience of my driving years. Incorrect parts ordered, delays in collection, car not sterilised
