Wonderful Sunday Lunch. Delighted the reputation of the Riverstation has remained high. Upstairs restaurant relaxed and smart. Fish Soup was incredible, Roast beef with shin delicious and good portion size. Desert of pear compote was nice, but not fantastic, but service excellent.

We reserved a table for Sunday lunch at the Riverstation. Seated by the windows with a beautiful view of the river. The menu varies so it won’t be the same week to week. On this day, I chose the slow cooked pork belly and my friend, the beef. Before the main course arrives, they serve bread with butter. The rosemary bread was soft, fresh and possessed a salty crust. Now for the main, the fatty skin was jelly-like; making a welcome change from the usual crunchier texture. The pork meat itself melted in my mouth. The vegetables were juicy but I wish the potatoes weren’t as dry though. I enjoyed my roast and I only leave with the regret of not having room for dessert. About average cost for this meal.

Fantastic place. We are a family with numerous allergies including two children with a very serious dairy allergy. The staff at Riverstation could not have been more helpful and were meticulous in making sure that everything was spotless. They checked every part of the menu for us and modified to suit our requirements. They even 'phoned suppliers, to be absolutely sure of ingredients. We felt completely safe letting the children eat there. They were the kindest, most pleasant people. The venue was lovely, the food was excellent and we will definitely be going back. Thank you all. Everything you did is so appreciated.

Lovely view of the river. Good portion sizes. I enjoyed the food, but nothing to write home about. Not a memorable meal. Service was good but they were not well versed in their menu or drinks selection.
