Obviously it's a premier in which is a budget hotel so the 5 stars is bearing that in mind which is fair enough. The hotel met all our expectations and we had a lovely overnight stay on the way to a wedding. The main expectations that we find important were met. The room was wonderfully clean and well furnished. The staff were lovely and polite. The breakfasts were the standard offer of premier inns but everything was to a high standard with cooked breakfasts cooked to order. The noise was minimal, which isn't always a problem that a hotel can control if there is a large party. However in this case the walls and doors are well sound proofed. I've stayed at hotels like this where the doors are old and thin, these aren't. It was quite hot when we started but a fan for the room was supplied and the window opened adequately to allow it to be cool enough. An alternative sheet was provided for the bed, if we wanted, to allow for the warm weather. Therefore everything was done to help with the heat and that allowed us to have a decent a night's sleep. There are no real views to speak of at this hotel but that isn't their fault and more importantly what you do see when you look out is clean. We had an evening meal and it was standard Brewer's Fare but cooked nicely. I would certainly stay here again, for the price it was an excellent experience. There is a slight point of historic interest on that the chimney of the old brick factory which existed on the site before the hotel still exists. If history of brick factories or chimneys is not your thing it does serve as a good landmark when you are looking for the place!
