Great City Centre hotel at what was the best cost I could find £81 a night. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. They also stored my luggage the next day free of charge. The breakfast is recommended against the other greasy spoons I found the day previously and far cheaper.

This place is clean and up to standard and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable and even though near a busy road the windows are well sound proofed. The restaurant is good and the food tasty but can be slow. It is fairly close to the main drag for restaurants so easy to go out and enjoy.

Pretty standard fare. The staff were pretty busy talking but attentive once you caught their attention. Hallways didn't see much cleaning, massive splatter of red stuff next to the lift was there all 3 days next to the lifts. Room was very good though. Super comfy beds, spacious and adjustable AC. They're suuuuper stingy with tea and coffee in the room but there's a jar of sachets at reception to help yourself to. Good water pressure in the shower, tiny bath and small spots of mold made it an OK experience. Breakfast was buffet style. Food was good even if the fried eggs were chewy from sitting out. Really good spread of stuff though.

The rooms are adequate. A double bed with a clean bath and toilet. The place is quite easy to locate and it is right next to the University of Edinburgh. There is a direct bus to the airport from the hotel. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. Lunch will not be provided.

The room was OK, bathroom needs a little refresh but not dirty or horrendous. Decent sized room, comfy bed. However the service not so good. Arrived way too early to check in (we knew this) but asked if there was any chance our room was ready anyway. We didn't argue or pursue the matter but found the receptionist very rude in response and when storing our bags for us. Anyway we were abruptly told 3pm is check in time..came back later and arrived just before 3pm, at this point we'd been up travelling since 4am. We were told our room is still not ready and will be in 10 minutes (this would make it bang on 3pm). She said she will call us when it's ready and we can wait in reception. We watched probably a dozen groups coming in and being given a key for their room straight away. But ours still wasn't ready. I actually fell asleep on the chair in the waiting area as I was so exhausted. It got to around 3.45pm before my partner eventually had enough and went up to the desk for a fourth time and said can you just tell us if and when we will have a room available or else we will just have a refund and go to the holiday Inn over the road which had a room available. Then we were shown to our room! Crazy. During our stay we had no cleaning of the room, for whatever reason, so we had to request clean towels and more tea and coffee every day. The bed wasn't made or anything which I thought odd, but could possibly be due to covid restrictions. Anyway I personally wouldn't recommend, premier inn are usually good but I'd stick with another budget brand if visiting Edinburgh.

Good stay. Neat rooms. Only issue is that there is no parking available for hotel. The nearest one is down the road but if you are new to the place and have luggage to carry it would be really difficult.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel in general and clean rooms at check in. Breakfast is very sufficient and good variety - scrambled and sunny side eggs, hash browns, sausages etc, corn flakes, pan cakes, toasts etc. You will have a good start to the day. They have discount by the nearby parking place NCP Castle Terrace, which is close to the castle, old and new town. It was a great choice for a city center hotel and at a very good price. Thanks to the whole hotel staff.
