I had a Guardian Warm Roof fitted by Phil Coppell in 2013. Over the years we have had water dripping into the conservatory. Apparently this is condensation caused through lack of ventilation. No ventilation in the ring beam. The whole roof is collapsing and needs completely removing. Was told Phil Coppell Ltd had gone into liquidation in 2017.

To be fair we've been perfectly happy with the replacement roof we had installed 5 years ago. What I'm not happy about is that the 10 year guarantee we got at the time is not worth the paper it's written on since they've disolved the company and now claim to be a different company. Check the directors on companies house... they're just evading their responsibilities. Can't knock what they sold us, but don't be swayed by talk of guarantees.

After weeks of getting quotes from various roofing companies we finally decided on PCL to replace our conservatory roof. This is the best decision we made. We had a quote and building work started within a week and a half. The fitters worked tirelessly over the week and did a great job. We are left with a high quality finish and a room that is now usable throughout the year.

From our very first meeting to the finished project everything was taken care of in an efficient way. Even with the Covid lock-down, which brought a pause in the works, PCL were communicative and helpful. PCL removed our old, leaky, draughty, boiling hot in the summer, freezing cold in the winter conservatory and replaced it with a modern insulated garden room. During the summer we have had the bi-fold doors open every day and now the garden feels like part of the house. We would use PCL again 😊

PCL have just completed the new roof on our Sun room. The work was done in good time and the tradesmen were first class. Like most jobs there was a couple of hiccups which were dealt with promptly and efficiently. The room is brilliant and now functional. Thank you PCL for your help and advice. D&D Wild

We asked PCL to create a L-shape wrap-around extension to give us over 30% more ground floor living space and to include a new office/guest room, utility room, downstairs WC and large open kitchen/sunroom with wide-opening doors and lots of natural light. Their technical director reassured us that he could complete to our terms and guaranteed a quality build which would exceed our expectations. Each morning a number of PCL building technicians arrived promptly and eager to begin their tasks for the day. They were each very friendly, approachable, professional and all very capable of the part they needed to play to complete the project set upon them. It goes without saying we’re really happy with the new extension, WC, utility room and office; but the staff at PCL really are a credit to the business. You can clearly see what we ordered was what we got! I have no doubt I would call upon their services again in the future.
