Just moved to area and for first time in 4 years had to try make an appointment to see a doctor. What an awful place. I can understand the need to filter calls via receptionist but no disrespect but these people are rude disrespectful and have no compassion or empathy. What a terrible place to have to go.

Absolutely Awful! Practise. .Couple of good Doctors and Lovely Nurses, but ,to try to get an appointment of any sort , I'm beginning to think that you have to be a Freemason or something!! I can Never get past the (Horrid, All Powerful Receptionist. Not even to speak to speak to the Pharmacist (who apparently must be some form of Supreme Being!) I was offered a telephone appointment with a GP Eleven days after I requested one, and Ten days wait for a telephone call with the Pharmacist! I have Crohn's disease, Chronic kidney disease (stage 4 ) Fibrosis of the liver, Chronic osteoarthritis, and Asthma....I've recently been discharged from an eight day stay in Hospital..(during which time I was informed that if my Son had waited another 2 hours or so before calling 999 then I wouldn't have made it.) But, none of these facts merit me even Speaking to one of Parc Canol's Hallowed Doctors. Disgusting!

Busy practice with far too few doctors to suit the size of the area it covers. Embarrassingly, even the E-consult system is shut down most of the time due to an apparent shortage of doctors. Getting progressively harder and harder to get an appointment, it makes you wonder whether the surgery is being properly managed or whether there actually is a shortage of doctors in the area to fill to ever increasing demand. If you are new to the area, do yourself a favour and register somewhere else!
