North Manchester General Hospital : Accident & Emergency manchester

I came in for surgery and told the receptionist what was happened and they knew exactly what was happening and saved my life thanks :)

On this occassion, the childrens A & E department were extremly fast as it was not as busy as it usually gets. We were seen to within 20mins, the doctor was nice, she listened, she explained clearly, she kept me informed on what she was going to do next throughout the whole process and kept reassuring me that my baby would be fine. The waiting area inside the childrens section was tidy and clean and on this occassion we were allocated one of the sensory rooms which just made a huge difference as my baby stayed calm and was rather interested in the things in the room. Great service. Happy mummy

the staff is super quick to help you and they are very polite, Its has a modern nice interior,good lightening and very clean hospital but very crowded 24/7!

Worst ever experience of my life . Staff who is suppose to provide care - the ladies have no concern over other people's pain . No system in place to check staff well-done to the high qualified managers who seem to be busy doing every thing but their job in planning and operating this premises . There are hardly few people here and most people are just leaving after long long long wait due to pain and discomfort . This a&e doesn't serves community and staff here need to be trained on how to care and love people and how to work. Male staff are generally good as Ahmad had given me tablet for pain relief and receptionist looked professional .

The WORST place l’ve ever been to. The staff was really rude and the make fun of the patient in their sensitive situations. Shame on you!

The north Manchester a&e is truly worst experience I had so far during my living life . It's 2nd November 2021 and I am sat here since 5 hours waiting to be seen . It's not busy infact no new patient has arrived in last 2-3 hours . Doctors and nurses have all disappeared and more patients are leaving due to long wait then getting treatment . There are no comfortable seating for patients and the nurse who dealt with me was just talking and not listening infact had advised to go to specialist clinic or wait for another 4 hours. In front of eyes , only few patients got treated in last 5 hours and numbers of leaving patients was far more . Infact as I am writing ,there are 11 people left all together and no one is getting seen . There is no check and balance on staff and every one is busy resolving every issue other then patients . It is really time to change this and overhaul the whole operations as hospital is putting people's health at risk .

Caring staff, good hospital.

Disgusting to say the least I got brought in by ambulance and had to wait in the ambulance 2 hours before I got took into hospital then got left in the corridor for another 2 hours without any pain relief I had a bile leak from previous surgery from my gall bladder and the nurse was so rude towards me. I got took to minors and left there for 17 hours nil by mouth before a doctor came to see me its absolutely appauling and some of the night staff are rude and not helpful at all.
