I needed to phone the surgery on behalf of my mum . The reception person went the extra mile to answer my complicated query without ever breaking patient confidentiality. She took the time to find the answer from the medical secretary She was kind, caring and really wanted to help. Thank you very much indeed.

Have called repeatedly then walked to the centre, whilst still on hold, to find receptionist not answering the phone. This happened twice. You can only get an appointment a week or more out from when you call, this includes children under 2. The Prestwich walk -in centre has a queue down the block. Bury walk-in centre is your best bet if ill and in need of medical advice.

Extremely unprofessional and incompitant medical practice. A vulnerable dementia patients repeat prescriptions are continually messed up. Putting medication on the order that they are no longer on and taking tablets out that the patient urgently requires. Complete gross negligence of a vulnerable patient. No improvements regardless of complaints. They do not even acknowledge the seriousness of their errors. Sickening!

The AskMyGP software doesn't work. Been on hold in a queue on the phone several times over the day. When you get to number one the phone it's put down and you start again. I have been poorly and needed the doctor twice in 5 years , both times it's been an arduous task. I understand staffing issues and no doubt a zillion other things are causing problems, and I do feel for the staff, but something needs to be done to improve the situation.

Been with this surgery for 5 years, whatever has occured during covid in the last year is awful. This review is the culmination of issues both my partner and I have dealt with over the last year. The online service which is open 7am-11am reaches capacity within 20mins. Means people have to phone up, but are left waiting 40+mins at most times of day to speak to the receptionists. Receptionists all seem brand new with little training. They are compounding their struggles with poor management of the situation. If you are looking for a good GP this is not it. Its a shame, if you had asked me 3 years ago, I would have said its amazing, now, its awful.

I am at my witts end with this practice! They are impossible to get hold off, they don't answer their phones and the online system is awful. I can list countless of problems we've had with them but I won't waste your time, just recommend you go elsewhere. The stress of being in this surgery is enough to cause a stomach ulcer
