Friendly efficient staff, great location, quiet area, and nice restaurant. Have the oysters if you visit the restaurant. They're the best oysters I've had in a long time. I tip my hat to management for training staff well. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful.

We came here for the restaurant, and the food did not disappoint! We had the Chateaubriand and the steak was cooked to perfection. It was truly remarkable. The service was awesome, the waiter certainly knew his stuff about the wine. Would love to come back!!

Our stay here was amazing. We were upgraded unknown to me for my engagement. The room was incredible with our own garfen area. The staff are so friendly. The chef even made my sister a vegan curry. The evening was perfect and I will remember the day forever.

Nice Victorian era hotel in a good location. Great breakfast and staff. Only downside was no air-conditioning as they are not allowed to install one in a heritage building, so a bit hot in the summer. Staff provided a fan.

Very nice place and friendly staff. As I was walking back to my room for example, one of the staff saw I had my hands full so he rushed outside to get the door for me. We had a top floor room 65 steps up but it was a very modern clean and cool room. One of the neatest places I have stayed. I could live here.

Amazingly friendly staff, lovely location on a quiet street, beautiful room and a tasty breakfast. Very good value. Street parking outside was easy and free overnight. Room a little too warm but would definitely go back!

Could have been better, let down 40 mins before breakfast saying we could only have continental which was poor, toast arrived with fruit and yogurt but no butter or preserve and when it did arrive toast was cold and hard. You must check all cupboards for the kettle as it's hidden and no one tells you on arrival and only a coffee pod machine on display. The jacuzzi was nice but plug was broken and they have tried to fix with silicone. Cracked floor tiles as you exit jacuzzi. At the we price you pay a decent maintenance service would benefit here

If you book a reservation here you better hope an act of God doesn't keep you from traveling! They won't give you a dime of the hundreds of dollars you spent to stay with them back. As someone who works for one of the biggest hospitality and entertainment corporations in the world, I'm honestly baffled. Thanks to the UK's new restrictions on international arrivals I was going to be in isolation the entire length of my stay in Scotland. We decided to cancel our trip and travel in the future when things were better. The team at Nira Caledonia refused to give me a dime of my $600 back and told me the best they could do was give me a credit to use within 90 days. Why would I book another trip in only 90 days when the threat of a new Covid-19 variant is clearly very possible? I will never stay here or recommend any friends or family to stay here in the future. There are so many other options in Scotland that would gladly refund your money in the hopes of having you as a guest in the future.
