Food was good and service was friendly and accommodating. I've got to say that my dining experiences in Scotland have been generally disappointing but from many travelers, Scotland is known somewhat for disappointing food. I've yet to have anything that struck me as very good and my stay has been decently long. But the fish and chips I got was good. The chips were rather bland though and too big. But the fish and sauce was great! Felt very reasonably priced considering the service, location and dining decor. WiFi was useful as well. I have nothing really bad to say except the fries (or chips as you might say here) would honestly have been more enjoyable if done by McDonald's but I might have said the same at another place. Chips are one of those things that can be done a million different ways and I just didn't care for them here. It was kind of a powdery texture inside and a big slice at that.

Terrible dirty, wallpaper hanging off walls, fusty smell everywhere. No parking only on main road. Old type TV which didn't even work. Beds were damp. Arrived late so had to stay one night of 3 booked. Hardly slept a wink with poor wet mattress. Also by rail track so very noisy. Not at all as advertised. Ought to be removed from Web sites

I can absolutely recommend the food!!😍Worlds best „Homemade Lasagne“!! I would‘ve eaten another one, if it wasn‘t that huge 😍👍🏻 Such a lovely service ! I just read a bad review on here that stated „...we waited so long for food...“ well: the food took a little bit longer but we don‘t mind as it was freshly made and all of us were more than happy with it! Thank you again!! ☺️🙌🏻
